  We booked a beginner lesson for kids and they were taken to surf a point break 1/4mile out to sea. Having a wipe out at this depth was pretty terrifying.... read more The instructors were really friendly, and I'm sure this experience is perfect for more experienced/older surfers. I'd just recommend checking beforehand if you're booking for kids/beginners, where an onshore lesson would be more appropriate.
